Faith is at the very heart of the Christian life. It’s how we come to know God, how we follow Him, and how we receive His promises.
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
– Hebrews 11:1 (NIV)
Faith means trusting in God's character, His Word, and His promises—even when life is hard or confusing.
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” – Ephesians 2:8 (NIV)
“For we live by faith, not by sight.” – 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NIV)
“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” – Hebrews 11:6 (NIV)
Faith is based on the truth of God’s Word. It is anchored in who God is—not just in what we want.
These people weren’t perfect, but they trusted God—and He honored their faith.
“Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.” – Romans 10:17 (NIV)
“God, help me trust You more. Even when I don’t see the whole picture, I believe that You are good, that You are with me, and that Your Word is true. Strengthen my faith every day. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
Faith is not about being perfect—it’s about trusting a perfect God. When you put your faith in Jesus, you can walk confidently, knowing that He is with you every step of the way.
