Set Aside Special Pray Time With God
Prayer is an opportunity and a privilege to spend time conversing with God. To really understand the heart of God, we need to pray. In John 15:15, Jesus says He no longer calls us his servants, but calls us His friends. Talking with God develops a deeper relationship with Him. The necessity of prayer for the realization of salvation is brought to light in the acts and teachings of Jesus. Thus, He exhorted His disciples to pray always and not loose heart. .

Study The Word Of God
The Bible remains the only source of divine revelation and power that can sustain us as a Christian. Note these significant promises in the Scripture.
The Bible is the source of:
- Guidance: "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path" (Ps. 119:105).
- Truth: "Sanctify them by Your truth; Your word is truth" (John 17:17).
- Blessing: "But He said, 'More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it'" (Luke 11:28).
- Growth: "As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby" (1 Pet. 2:2).
- Victory: "...the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God" (Eph. 6:17).
- Power: "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek" (Rom. 1:16).
Have Faith Like A Child (Mathew 18:3)
Children, full of innocence, come to their loving father and mother, trusting them to completely take care of them, to protect them, to provide for them, to correct them when they are wrong, and to love and cherish them.
To go before God as a child is to go before God stripped of our sins and doubts, full of wide-eyed inspiration that comes from total faith.
Faith builds character, and the process starts when we come like little children. Without faith, we cannot please God. (Hebrew 11:6)
Adults have a tendency to become cynical with age, while a child has yet to be touched by the concerns of the world.
A child is innocent, is trusting, believes without complication, has not had time to allow the preconceived notions of the world to form his/her decision-making process.
A child receives with joy, forgetting herself with light-hearted abandonment., is humble, is content in the little things, has the faith to move mountains, is awed by majestic splendor, takes to heart God’s Word in all its simplicity.
This is what God expects of us!
